Fantasy Recaps and Fantasy Previews
One of the things we pride ourselves on here at MyFantasyLeague.com is the unique features we offer. Now that your fantasy season is underway, it's a good time to introduce two of these features that you might not be aware of: Fantasy Recaps and Fantasy Previews.
Fantasy Recaps are automated post-game writeups of each matchup in your fantasy league from last week, complete with top performing players, player photos, and a chart showing how scoring progressed throughout the week's games. Best of all, if you view your own writeup on that page, you'll notice that the canned quote attributed to you is a clickable link - click on that link, and you can edit that quote to say anything you'd like. Also, the commissioner can edit any recap to make it say anything he'd like to. There are several places you can see Fantasy Recaps on your league pages:
- Via the Reports > Franchise > Fantasy Recaps menu item available from the top of all league pages.
- On your Home Page Modules And Tabs Setup page, you can add the "Fantasy Recap - Game Of The Week" module to your league home page.
In addition to Fantasy Recaps, we offer Fantasy Previews, which are like pre-game writeups of what's expected of the matchup and the teams involved, including projected point totals from our partners at FantasySharks.com, as well as the ability to customize owner quotes, like you can with fantasy recaps. Previews can also be added to your league home page via the Home Page Modules And Tabs Setup page.
One additional note - on the Home Page Modules And Tabs Setup page, there is a module called "Today's League News". If you add that module to your league home page, it will automatically rotate content depending on the day of the week:
- On Sundays, the "Live Scoring Summary" home page module is displayed, so everyone knows their scores while the games are underway.
- On Mondays, the "Monday Report" home page module is displayed, allowing folks to see what players are playing in the Monday night game, and their projected point totals.
- On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the "Fantasy Recap" home page module is displayed.
- On Fridays and Saturdays, the "Fantasy Preview" home page module is displayed.
