August Newsletter - More System Enhancements.

Here at MyFantasyLeague.com, we're still busy working on the site for 2012 to ensure that your league experience here is better than ever before. Some of the many changes that we've already completed for 2012 include:

  1. Six New Skins - We've added six more new skins to the Select A Skin page: "Windy City", "Minute Men", "Steel City", "Lone Star", "Big Apple" and "Cheeseheads".
  2. Automatically Update "Can't Cut List" - Another way we're working closer with FantasySharks.com this year is a new option on the Edit Can't Cut List page called "Can't cut list will be automatically maintained on a weekly basis throughout the season by FantasySharks.com? Yes/No". If you change this option to "Yes", on a weekly basis throughout the season, we'll automatically update your list of players that cannot be cut by anyone in your league.
  3. League Map - As you end up in more leagues with folks who don't necessarily live close by, we've added a new report to the site available from the Reports > League > League Map menu item. This is a map of the country, with points on the map indicating where owners in your league live. This new "League Map" also available as a home page module on the Home Page Modules And Tabs Setup page. A couple of important privacy-related things to keep in mind with this new feature: first, this map only displays the information that owners in your league might choose to enter on the "For Owners > Franchise Setup > Contact Info" page, and second, this information is only displayed to folks who are logged into your league (and not site guests).
  4. Fantasy Depth Chart Now Includes IDPs - Due to our partnership with FantasySharks.com, we're now able to offer IDP leagues the ability to see individual defensive players on the Reports > NFL > Fantasy Depth Chart report.
  5. Additional Taxi Squad Restriction - Bye Weeks Only - If your league uses Taxi Squad players, the Taxi Squad Setup page has a new field on it called "Only allow players who have a bye for the upcoming week to be on the Taxi Squad? Yes/No". If you change this option to "Yes", the system will only allow owners to demote players to the taxi squad when it's that player's NFL bye week.
  6. Follow Additional Twitter Accounts - The Twitter Setup page has an additional input field on it to allow a commissioner to enter any additional Twitter accounts he'd like to follow for your "Twitter Feed" home page module.
  7. Additional Report Filtering - Both the Projected Stats Report as well as the NFL Draft Report will now allow you to filter based on a player's position.
