Twitter Integration With Your League

One of the many things we've spent a lot of time on this off-season is more robust integration with Twitter. Some of the many ways we are offering Twitter integration with the site this year includes:

  1. Automatic Tweets From MFL To Your Twitter Account - The newest, and most exciting, Twitter integration feature we've added this off-season is available from your For Owners > Franchise Setup > Contact Information page called "League Tweets". If you use that option, you'll be able to connect your Twitter account to your MFL franchise, and then we'll automatically send out tweets for key league events - like draft picks, auction results, weekly results, and more. Best of all, if those tweets mention an NFL player who uses Twitter, it will mention that player's Twitter username, too. Who knows, you might end up in a conversation with an NFL player on Twitter using this feature, like @PFF_RossMiles did!
  2. Twitter Feed Home Page Module - You can easily add feeds from Twitter accounts right on your league home page. Just go to the Home Page Modules And Tabs Setup page, and add the home page module called "Twitter Feed" to your league home page. Then, your commissioner can use the Twitter Setup page to decide what Twitter accounts you want to see tweets from, how many tweets you want to see, and more. Also, any Twitter account that owners include on their Contact Information page will be included in this module, too.
  3. NFL Player Twitter Accounts Listed On Player Profile - For those NFL players that do have Twitter accounts, their player profile report has been updated to mention their Twitter usernames to make it easier to follow your favorite NFL players.
  4. Follow Us On Twitter - We're constantly posting relevant fantasy and NFL news on our Twitter account - we'd love a "follow" from you so that we can help keep you up-to-date on all news that might help you run your fantasy teams this year.
  5. Share Your League Pages On Twitter - All league pages have a main menu at the top, and a menu item called "This Page" has a submenu item called "Share This Page On Twitter". You can use this option to share any MFL league page with all of your Twitter followers.

If you currently use Twitter, we've love your feedback on the above integration, and your ideas for how we might be able to improve it. But, if you don't currently use Twitter, we'd definitely suggest you sign up for an account as a way to improve your NFL knowledge and fantasy football experience.

Sincerely,
The MyFantasyLeague.com Team
